Excellent! What a wonderful experience. The owner is a very nice lady who did everything to accommodate my request for a non-spicy meal. She recommended the vegetable stew with chicken and fufu - which was delicious! My husband ordered okra stew with beef, which was also spectacular. Give them a try! Don’t be intimidated by the torn up parking lot :)

Got the goat curry rice and jollof rice and both of them were delicious. The vibe was small and empty and the server was ok. Would def come here for good African food

Amazing food and service! First time trying an authentic African meal and it's now one of my favorites. The staff were very helpful and gave us suggestions and explanations on what we may like. Highly recommend the beef patties and jollof rice! Not to mention, huge portion sizes! Can't wait to come back.

I can not say enough how grateful I am for Chi! I followed Chi to this restaurant and have been using them to cater food for every party I have done the last few years and she has not disappointed me. Food was great, fresh, flavorful and everyone enjoyed and commented on the food. You cannot go wrong using them to cater for you party. And most importantly, my food was alway ready on time. Stopped in for dinner and to try something new and Ubuntu didn't disappoint! I had the egusi with goat, and it was probably the best meal I've had all month. Thank yall for the food and I'll be back.

The food and the service were great. We dined in, and it was hotter inside than out. The food is made fresh, so if you are in a rush, definitely not the place for you.

My first time trying this place and it was soooooo good. 10/10 recommend I got the jollof rice with beef&plantains. So good. My favorite place to go now. Establishment was very nice and clean and quiet

Must try place. We loved it. The portions are big, so be ready to stuff yourself or bring some back home (by the way they’ll put your leftovers in the to go boxes for you). Totally recommend the Joloff rice and goat meat, but the chicken is good too. Their seasoning is great. If you like spices this is the place to go. Spicy too, but on the side for those that are more sensitive which is great. The service is great: friendly and welcoming. Also there’s a bit of a wait for the meals to come out but that means your food is freshly made. We will definitely be back.
